Special Days for EE: 2010 Planner Each year there are special days set aside for Environmental Education. We all know Earth Day is in April, but when is America Recycles Day, Arbor Day, National Wildlife Week, and American Wetlands Month? EE Alliance of Georgia - Conference Registration Now Open The Environmental Education Alliance (EEA) of Georgia conference will be held Friday, March 19 - Saturday, March 20, 2010 at the Kennesaw State University Continuing Education Center in Kennesaw, Georgia. Early registration ends February 26, 2010. EE Alliance of Georgia Awards - Call for Nominations The Environmental Education Alliance (EEA) of Georgia recognizes and honors exceptional contributions to environmental education at its annual awards ceremony. Nominations are due February 12, 2010. International Compost Awareness Week Poster Contest Everyone is eligible to enter the 3rd Annual International Compost Awareness Week Poster Contest. The 2010 theme is "Compost!...Recycling for a Greener Tomorrow." The poster winner will receive a $500 prize. Each student division winner will receive $100 in special recognition. Entries must be received by 12 noon EST on February 28, 2010.
