This initiative is modeled after the “Wisconsin Green and Healthy Schools” program developed by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources and Department of Public Instruction and “The Green Flag Program” coordinated by the Center for Health Environment and Justice.  It is also designed to complement US EPA’s new “Healthy School Environment Assessment Tool” for school district facilities managers.
